I've been happy with kangaroo, used them loads. You can call them up to check what's in stock. Texere is also fine.

Oh god, yes, I did, just this week, thanks to realising CF had emailed me there, too - I almost never check that email. I'll answer and give you an email address that actually works!

Consider the Lily - brilliant and superfast service

Colinette.com - slow with poor responsiveness to emails, sometimes you have to wait ages for them to die some more yarn but you don't know whether this is the case or not when you order

I like angel yarns.

MegaLegs · 14/11/2006 12:00

I use Laughing Hens. They were brilliant. Really went out their way to help me find an alternative for some yarn I wanted that was out of stock. Everything arrives beautifully wrapped. Their Noro Iro is £10.25 a ball though - yikes!

Oh, that yarn is nice Fio. I missed this the first time round- agree that Get Knitted and Kangaroo are excellent, so is Texere (they sell Noro now, too). I have had two dire experiences with Angle Yarns, as have many people on a Yahoo group, but I gather they have improved now. I think there's price fixing with Noro except in the sale- it always seems to be exactly the same price everywhere.
