Oh dear. Might just have a new craft addiction....and...

Finally took my sewing machine to my friends and she showed me how to use it....

But.....today I made a lovely zip bag out of 2 pairs of my late mothers amazingly loud trousers - gorgeous BUT I blew up the iron and tripped the fuses !

I'm not sure I'll be " allowed" to play with the iron again. DH took over general ironing years ago when I burnt myself... Now this :)

So it's win win, really, isn't it?

I only iron my creations

Dp irons anything else. He did point out the other day that I've ironed more since taking up sewing again than in the 9 years we've been together

It's an Easter miracle !

DH has resurrected the iron with new flex. As it dares from when I went to uni in 1984 it reall is is a miracle!
