Finishing off a voile sleeve (at the shoulder end)

If I overlock it, before sewing in place, will it look messy?

I'm going to use a French seam along the length, rolled hem at the cuff. I just can't work out the neatest way to finish off the shoulder end

(I've never sewn a set in sleeve in voile before)

Any help or advice would be wonderful

I thought I'd already replied but it seems not!
I think I'd overlock after sewing but why not try a sample first?

Thanks dr, I have yards of the stuff so will try one before I make the real thing
