On 9th May there is an art piece that anyone aged 60 and over can be part of. It is being organised by friends of mine.

m.facebook.com/AgeYardShift

"Age Yard Shift is an art event created by Sarah Fortes Mayer that is taking place on May 9th 2015 on Edgbaston Street, Birmingham at 11.am. People over the age of 60 are invited to bring two photocopied images of themselves to display in St Martin's Church, Bull Ring. One image of them in their 20's and the other a recent one. On the reverse of each their name D.O.B and the area they lived in at that time. Then to join with everyone for an outdoor simple guided movement of shifting feet accompanied by a gong. Followed by the singing of "When I'm 64." The intention is to generate interest in the past have some fun and make new friends. Be part of a work of art shifting the invisibility of us all!"

There is also an art competition for children to take part in.
