making your own light/lamp shades - where to get the gear for it?

I want to make a light shade for dd's rom as cannot find one I like.
Where on earth do I find the stuff I need?

not sure what type you wanted to make.

homecrafts (co.uk) have smome bits. search for "lampshade"

hobbycraft (co.uk) stores and online

fredaldous (co.uk) got to lampshade making

stainedglass (co.uk) has some lovely stained glass lampshade bits

John lewis had a lampshade making kit and I guess they may have materials to make your own too.
