Hi I am almost at the end of a beanie hat and using triple crochet stitch, how should I finish off so I have an even end? Absolute beginner here Smile

If you mean joining the last stitch of the round to the one at the start, I use an invisible finish where you kind of recreate the look of an ordinary stitch top using a darning needle.

If you mean a border to neaten the edge, I often use "crab stitch" or "reverse single crochet" which is simple.

It's not too fiddly or complicated and it really does give a better finish than the usual "join with a slip stitch to first stitch" method. I wish I'd discovered it earlier in my crochet career :)
