Bunting and other frivolous festive stuff

I have fabulous festive fabric. Now how do I turn it into beautiful bunting?

Also. I have about 7000 crocheted snowflakes. What can I do with them?

Just cut out triangles a bit bigger than you want, sew right sides together, trim and flip 'em out and sew to ribbon or bias binding.
Any embellishment to the triangles should be done before sewing together IYSWIM.
You could sew the snowflakes to the bunting pennants so they were 3D-ish.
Definitely take pictures and show us!

OP - I think this looks nice (and a decent tutorial). I was looking for some appliqué shapes for a tree skirt and thought of your post when I came across this.

Also, where are you going to hang it?
If it's going against a wall you could put Halloween, Easter, summer/birthday fabric on the back and get two uses for your effort and storage space.

There are some lovely reversible Halloween/fall/ Christmas table run on Pinterest

Oh I love the idea of reversible bunting for different occasions. Good idea Elephants

Seemed a great idea to me as it means you can justify the same weight, easy to sew, irons to a crisp line quilting fabric for both sides.

Which is also good for table runners, mats etc. because they should wash without twisting.
