what this fabric is, please.

Not having enough unfinished pieces of my own , I bought this one at a car boot sale and would love to finish it.

Looks vintage 70s to me. Some of it appears to be Liberty.

Thanks, ClapHands that's what I thought. Am thinking now that I could buy some similar fabric and make rows to insert throughout this piece. That should work.

I would do that too...I often see bags of similar things on Ebay...unfinished vintage quilts or just the squares.

I put in vintage liberty remnants and a lot appeared which would probably tone well.
