What to do with old knitting patterns?

I'm clearing out my mum'sstuff as she sadly passed away a few months ago. She was a keen knitter and has lots of old knitting patterns, lots from the 80s. I don't want to just throw them away, so any ideas what I should do with them?

Charity shop! They usually have a corner somewhere for wool oddments and patterns. Maybe they'll only fetch 10p each but someone will use them.
