Loom bands.. Can you join two loom band bracelets together?

My DD wants to make a really long loom band erm, weave(?).

She'd like to make it with her friends. Is there a way of joining different weaves together? Like when you make patches for a quilt and then sew together?

Ds joins them with the little s shaped clips.

My DS makes them on two fingers and then there's no limit to length.

if you buy the rainbow loom you can join them together before you start and make longer and/or wider "weaves"...
