So I think this years Christmas present project will be tie-dyed stuff (T-shirts, tea towels etc). DS did some at school and it looked quite good. But I have some questions.
I think I get the basics (use elastic bands, different folds etc to get different patters.
How do different colours on the same item work?
How do you get splodges of colour but keep the background white?
Can you recommend a kit or a set of dyes?
Will I need to do everything all at once (I see some of the dyes are 'use once' - can you mix up a small amount or does that not work?)
Any other tips?
