Card Challenge???

Things have been really quiet here over the summer so how about a challenge??

THEME
Christmas in September

SIGN UP DEADLINE
Friday 8th September

RULES (GUIDELINES)

  • make ONE Christmas card
  • send everything you used to make it to your Challenge Chum (CC) including the card blank and the envelope. Send them by Septmeber 15th -before you send them to your CC take a photo of the bits and pieces (B&P) -when you receive your B&P,make a card with the things you have receieved. If you receieve more than 5 B&P (not including the card) then you can miss one out. If you receiev less than 5 B&P then you can add one more thing. Other than that you can only add glue, glitter,chalk and ink. -take a picture of your card and post it on the Yahoo group by 29th Septmeber.

It sounds complicated but ius really straight forward and i thought that the christmas theme would be good to get us all going.

Visited WHsmiths today and bought some brads & eyelets for 1.99 per pack. They are now doing scrapbook papers but not sure what they are like.

AQ, I have been able to finish my card and photograph it along with the bits that I am sending to CaliforniFrau...I am very excited as I am a card virgin and a challenge virgin so hopefully I haven't screwed up too badly!

I don 't believe I have access to the Yahoo site to upload anything. Can I get permissions or whatever I need or shall I email you the photos? Let me know. I am [email protected] if you would like to reach me via email. Thanks and very excited.

sorry sunchowder - i have been busy with visitors and work. i will go and look for your emails now but in the meantime you can sign into the yahoo group with the ID mumsnetter and the PASSWORD netters

peachy - don't panic; i haven't sent out any details as the closing date for sign-up hasn't passed but sunchowder and californifrau are paired up as they are both in the US.

yes --- a piece of the same coloured card so they can make what ever shape they like

sign up deadline isn't until friday and you 2 are nearly done!

I just mailed it yesterday Frau! Hopefully it will be there tomorrow,I hope you are not disappointed....I struggled too believe me. Can't wait to get yours already.

Don't panic LVT ...CF and sunny are in the US so to save anyone posting overseas they have paired themselves up and are EAGER-BEAVERS.

i am jsut chasing up addresses and am only short of UCM's

UCM can you email me please? if you don't see this in time i will ask JM if she has it.
