Pattern question-very basic

Hi,

I have decided that I would like to sew something other than the odd cushion cover. I have bought the simplicity learn to sew 2290. My question is I want to make the trousers in different sizes, but if I cut the pattern I can only make one size. So do I have to buy the pattern multiple times so I can make trousers for myself and DH?

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

You can buy pattern tracing paper and then you can trace your size off the pattern to use it more than once.

I use normal baking paper for tracing patterns.

Thanks everyone
