so, had a couple of hours to go clothes shopping while dh looked after dd and really struggled to find anything nice - funky, unusual, nice colours. managed to buy a t-shirt on sale in a gorgeous turquoise but that was IT! everything was either really really expensive or somehow f*cked up - nice-design-but-why-did-they-have-to-put-that-massive-great-volcano-like-flower-on-the-boob-kind-of-thing, or the cut's all wrong.
so seriously thinking of buying a sewing machine and making my own clothes. anyone actually done this? am thinking would maybe take a clothes design / pattern course and a basic how to sew course.
