Oh that is so beautiful. I can't see myself knitting with curtain poles but knitting with twine is an interesting idea.

Our local garden centre sells brightly coloured twine for a small fortune admittedly.

My garden is so bare I wonder what I could make to cheer it up?!

That looks really lovely - I've got fence panels but I could knit with coloured twine and use whatever I make like a throw to brighten up the garden. Not sure about the curtain ple needles though.

Attic24 have some cute crochet patterns that are quite decorative, flowers, snowflakes, bunting.

I wonder if I could knit bunting for our fence in garden twine.

And the curtain poles can stay on the walks Grin
