kids modelling clay that hardens in the oven

Its dd's birthday in January and she would love some modelling clay that hardens in the oven. I remember fimo and prima (I think) when I was a little girl. Are there any newer alternatives? I've looked on amazon on fimo is still available but I wondered if anyone could recommend anything else. Thanks.

You can buy Sculpey but it's a bit expensive...I think it's better if you want to make finer sculptures...for a child Fimo is fine I think.

Fimo is great. I found Sculpey a bit sticky, whereas Fimo is nicer to work with.

I like Fimo Puppen and Super Sculpey because I have dinky widdle child-like hands and find usual fimo and sculpey too hard to work.

Some people say they'd be more suitable for Experienced Sculptors, but I do find them easier personally. You can also paint them.

It depends what she wants to make really. There's also two part epoxy, but it's harder to paint and may irritate her skin if she doesn't wear gloves.

There are special sets of fimo for children , I think maybe fimo soft ? Which is easier to shape, I ve just bought some kits cheapish new from e bay
