Mod podge gloss or matt for sealing paper design onto cardboard box dolls house?

I'm making one for DS for Christmas, not sure what finish would look better and be harder wearing (within reason!).

I'm not sure which would be harder wearing but I always think a mat finish looks nice on craft projects! Grin
