what else is good value apart from the paper...you are making me want to go

Dingle · 07/07/2006 16:14

Did you go to Ashford UCM? There is also one in Chatham, I suppose it is about 20 minutes or so from the Dartford Bridge/tunnel.

They do some scrapping goodies, but not that much. A small range of Do-Crafts stuff, Anita's stamps.......

Paper/card is really good value. Sometimes they have good deals on Making Memories stuff & patterned paper packs (sorry - dim - I can't remember what they are called - Collosal?????)

Sakura glaze pens are 1.69 !

Out of interest did they have any white/cream/ivory hammer card in A4? Quite often they have sold out at Chatham! Keep promising ourselves a trip down to Ashfor to McArthur Glen...was hoping to go today but it never happened...again!!!

UCM · 08/07/2006 16:56

Dingle... which way is Chatham?? Is it south of Dartford??

UCM · 08/07/2006 18:21

Well, to make 1 hammered A5 card there costs me 4.1p (not including embellishments) at my usual suppliers it costs approx 12p, so I would say very very cheap which means I can spend loads more on embellishments and when I sell a card, actually make some dosh back.

Soupy, tis me UCM you know?

Thanks UCM!!! Might have to fit a day trip in somewhere!!

Kiwi-Chatham is sort of east of Dartford, you'd carry on along the A2/M2.
