Thermal Roman Blind Tutorial help

Hi,

Bought beautiful fabric to make a simple roman blind, I also bought thermal lining because its to go against a drafty window. Had aimed to have all this done before autumn.

The fabric shop were really nice and said I could find tutorials on YouTube. Its been two months since I bought everything as baby dd2 has decided she no longer wants to sleep and I've forgotten what I'm meant to do.

I have an intricate pattrern on the blind so I've got tape to use rather than making a pocket for the ribs IYSWIM.

Can anyone help me? Many thanks

I've made lots and it is really easy. This looks an ok tutorial www.markovadesign.com/2011/06/how-to-sew-roman-blind.html. The ironing the hems bit and then laying them on top of each other and ironing again will only work if you've got enough space though. I did mine differently but I can't find a link and can't explain it. Sorry not helpful Sad

Defo use tape! It will be too bulky with the thermal lining otherwise and is also o bit of a pain whereas tape is much more straightforward. Enjoy!
