I d like to buy a small piece of sculpture and was hoping someone could recommend something or some artists.

I really like this by helen fletcher but it's £360 and my budget is £200 ish: www.whitewallgalleries.com/artists/Helen+Fletcher/My+Little+Piece+of+the+Sky/cType/SCULPTURES/id/1157_7307_1157/ipp/9/p/1/artists-collection.asp

I'm not sure if this is the right topic, have also posted in Products.

Thanks

If you like animal sculpture then I would suggest Lucy Kinsella. If you're not set on ceramic I would urge you to go bronze, it's a precious metal, durable, resale potential etc. bronzes in smaller editions (under 50)are a good investment, much more so than ceramics. You're probably not thinking about investment but its worth considering.

Have a search for bronze, Kinsella may be too much £££ but DO NOT BE AFRAID TO NEGOTIATE.....HARD!! I sell fine art and I promise you that there is plenty of room for negotiation. Sadly my paintings and bronze start at £5k otherwise I'd be flogging you my wares!

Thanks very much for the advice, I'll have a look this evening. Wish I could afford to spend £5k but think we need a new car more!! Have £200 to spend as my leaving present from current job so want to get something nice to remind me of my lovely colleagues (who thankfully didn't want to choose something on my behalf!).
