Does anyone have a copy of this month's Simply Knitting and can answer a pattern question for me?

I bought Simply Knitting this month and wanted to try the Debbie Bliss spotty, over sized jumper; however, I really do not understand the pattern! I'd assumed it would just be a sort of fair isle way of doing things - just switching colours, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Can anyone who knows the pattern I'm talking about tell me if it's really the case that you have to rip out four whole rows every time you want to create a spot? Surely that would be ridiculously inefficient and time consuming?!

Ah. So you're just dropping the stitch down four rows and dragging the blue up to border the spot? I was just getting very confused by the "unravel four rows", but that makes SO much more sense. Crikey, I'm dense.

Thanks! I might try it after all!
