I have a flyer advertising this. It is at the Bear Cafe, Deptford High Street.
'Knit your Mum' as it is called apparently provides you with wool and needles, served with a selection of tea and cakes as well as the after hours groove and urban visuals. Very arty I am sure.

I was very impressed by the Bear Cafe when I visited it on Saturday. Nice food and drink, beanbags, and it has a stage for music that doubles as a todder's play area, with toys (like a brio rail track) provided. There is also a small patio and an art gallery. There is a toddler club there every week.
A good meeting place for SE London people with tiny children.
