So far I am going to be doing:

painted candles (wrapped in cellophane)

Friendship bracelets

Scrunchies with lavender in them

Possibly some cards but someone else is doing cards so I don't want to steal their thunder

Any ideas for quick makes so I can get enough stock together in time? TIA!!

In Ikea you can buy plain pine picture frames - 3 or 4 for about £1 ish. Saw a craft stall once where these had been painted in pastel colours (matt - use match pots?) and "things" framed - brown paper cut into shapes???. But the kind of stuff you stick on cards. Whatever you fancied. But she was selling them for £5!

Thanks Tinker - I used to have a load of those but left them behind when I moved Sad

Any more ideas anyone?

Glass painted jam jars - they make lovely patio decorations.
Another vote for painted picture frames - IKEA have packs of 5 for a pound if you have any chance of getting there.
Bead necklaces and bracelets?
Earrings?

ooo glass painting, yes, forgot about that - still got my painting kit somewhere.

Will have to rely on what I have around me as the nearest IKEA is over 2 hours away!

Can't do jewellery, am ham fisted and someone else is doing jewellery.

Keep ideas coming, many thanks!!

What about those little bags JM did on the other craft stall thread ??

That posh bottled water that comes in blue or red glass. Good to paint simple designs in silver paint. Stick a candle in it?

Cheap terracotta plant pots from B&Q etc can also be painted.

Second the painted terracota pots, they look lovely. Someone at DD1's schol does them with herbs pained on, their names, and then pots little herb seedlings into them.

Oooooo scrunchies with lavender or rosemary in them, would be fantastic for getting rid of nits I imagine...... Where on earth did you get that idea from.... it's a fantastic idea.
