oh my god she is such a nice lady she was giving a chat to the local knitters i have just got started and had popped in to pick up some yarn i d ordered
she's so lovely and very clever and very understated she even signed my book for me
would love to chat to any one else that has been bitten by the knitting bug

If it doesn't say what kind, it's unlikely to be merino.

To be fair, there may be non-merino wool that's also fine for me. I always test wool by rubbing it on the inside of my wrist. If I get an itch, I can't buy that wool. I get chronic exczema (sp) on my hands and feet, which kicks up if exposed to wool.

Merino is pretty easy to find, Jaeger do loads.

(Cashmere isn't wool, it's from goats, not sheep. Ditto angora, from bunnies. I think they're both still stretchy, like wool, but they're not wool. Cashmere certainly doesn't bug me, I don't think angora does either.)

ive finished my drop shoulder jumper its well cute but will pay more attention next time to sewing up i have also finishe the stocking stitch beanie hat
have started the garter stich jacket from the other baby book the big one
