wording for cards - help needed

poppiesinaline · 12/04/2006 17:15

if I wanted to add wording on the front of my cards, how do I do it and get a 'good look'? My handwriting is not that good and peel offs are ok but am wanting something a bit better.

help please from all of you in 'the know' :)

stickers, rub ons, peel offs can all look nice. Mount it onto a contrasting card perhaps. Alpha stamps, use the pc or sizzix letters (i'll cut you some playground if you want to send me some card) or if you want to do a swap and once i've sent some letters you can send me some stash

Pixiefish · 12/04/2006 17:26

I also have the small stuff alpha which is fairly small letters. could send you some of that as well if you like. PM me on MO if you want

Print off on PC and mat/layer it, print directly onto card by putting the whole card through your printer. You will need to work out a template for this depending on where you want your wording/size of card etc.

Rub on wording. There are others too, I think Lasertret (sp) do some options and I think other crafter will give more info.

Oh,Blush forgot about sizzix!!! Slap my wrist in disbelief!!!

Whizzz · 12/04/2006 17:52

Safmat is the Lettraset stuff - print onto it using a printer & then use it like a peel off

Whizzz · 12/04/2006 17:53

Shock Dingle how could you forget about Sizzix ShockGrin

poppiesinaline · 12/04/2006 18:28

Print wording off on medium stiff card, from the pc. I do this all the time, and it does look nice. I bought a '1000 fonts' cd for £3.00, and it has been fantastic...

poppiesinaline · 12/04/2006 20:11

:( Pixiefish no morning coffee over lettering swaps then! Wink LOL

Ahhhh thanks Dior. Good tip. Will try that one.
