Or close to :)

I've just started making cards, but all the cards and envelope sets seem rather pricey.. So I was wondering where everyone gets there's from? I've not investigated e-bay yet, but need to.. is there anywhere else? I'm only after simple pre-folded white/beige/cream cards with matching envelopes.

Any suggestions? (Can't you tell I'm new to this!)
TIA x

I get mine from the PAPERMILL shop. They have shops in various shopping centres. I also buy A5 card from there and make my own.

Some people have talked in the past about PDA- don't know what their prices are like.

In what region are you as there may be somewhere specific to your region

The Works and e-bay, generally (used to be papermill which is similar to Works card section but bigger but not near one now)

Argos also do big packs (but you might want to start out smaller)\link{http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/0216973.htm\argos}

Hobbycraft do smaller packs but can be pricey. I've even seen packs in Asda recently - sorry didn;t look at price

Thank you all.. I'm in Norwich, never seen a Papermill shop, which is a shame! I should check out The Works, ours isn't very good tho'!
Definitely need to investigate e-bay :)

I've had fairly good packs in hobbycraft as well

Asda have some small packs of about 10 cards - white or cream available. Pretty cheap too.

I buy my envelopes from Idealuk.co.uk.
I got a pack of 100 sheets of 280 gsm A4 white card for £5 (therefore 2.5p per A6 card) from Rapid Electronics...really good quality. It s so much cheaper to make your own card blanks, and you get much more choice that way too. You can get envelopes from just about anywhere.

'It is'

Thanks :) I have lots of beige card, which I can easily fold.. I just thought it looked more professional if I had matching envelopes, perhaps I should try and find some beige envelopes in the right size.

I clearly need to check out Asda too... I bought some from The Range and they were fairly reasonable, but I'm sure I could get cheaper!
