I have a hankering to crochet a hat...

..but I can't crochet!

I'd love to learn as I love the look of crocheted stuff.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good book for beginners? I've tried looking at youtube demos but I need pictures and words!

I can 'see' my hat in my head and need to build up the skills so it becomes a reality!

I think Kat Goldin might have a book coming out.
