Am stitching some fleece shapes on to an old throw to cover holes and horrid patches and know I need to use blanket stitch but I'll be bu&&ered if I can remember how!

Can you help me or point me towards someone who can?

I can do it, but haven't a clue how to start explaining it cadders!!Shock

How are you honey?

Make a loose stitch. As you make the 2nd stitch, catch the loop of the first with your needle before going into the fabric again.

needle down through fabric and up inside the loop which is kept to the right of the needle and so on

Thanks guys - my dh suggested asking "The Oracle" as he calls youSmile

I'll give it a go and compare it to the pictures.

Dingle, I'm fine thanks. Have enjoyed looking at your web site - very exciting - you have been a busy girl haven't you! How are things in the Dingle household? Do you fancy a coffee (or brekky?) once the kids have gone back to school. Lots of love to you, xxxx

Cadders- I am always busy- you know me!!

I'd love to meet up when kiddies are back to school. Give me a shout nearer the time and we can set a date.

Hope the blanket stitch goes OK!Grin
