Has anyone made a fleece buggy cosy thingy?

This is my inspiration. It looks so easy, but I'm better with a pattern/instructions.

I'm not great at making stuff but I've made my own curtains and ran up a few school play costumes so I'd like to have a go.

I think it's the edging that is making me scratch my head.

Please share your wisdom and experience with me.

Thanks

I made two - the first one with two normal zips - didn't turn out so well, but the second with the proper zip was excellent - although a bit long so dragged on the floor a bit. I think I did 2 layers of thin fleece on each piece so I could sew it inside out and then turn it through, then cut the holes for the strap and did a sort of buttonhole edging round these. I added some ties to the top corners to keep it up. My best tip is to put the holes high up as it seems to drag down and to keep it a bit shorter than the footbar. Good luck!

Thanks wife, what do you mean about the different zips? What is the 'proper zip'? That could be the key to my success!

Oh, and the ties, what did you make them from?

Thanks
