Source for 'treasure basket' items?

Can anyone recommend a good source for any non-toxic (and not too expensive) treasure basket items for a 12 month old?

Home Bargains have lots of little knick-knacks for quite cheap prices - wooden spoons, whisks, natural sponges, curtain rings, etc. Ikea often have cheap but interesting things too.

I went a bit mad in wilkinsons for ours. Animal toys, kitchen stuff, wash cloths, brushes. Primark for bangles with no stones etc that could come off (might not be non toxic tho ).
