Do you always wash your fabric before start a pattern or project?

Do you put it through a washing machine cycle or just give it a bit of a hand rinse?

You should wash it in the same way you will wash the finished article.

Yep, i always do - imagine if you spent hours making something and it shrank on first wash.

Lets just say I do now
