Baby handprints - do I need special paint?

I'm thinking of making some Christmas cards with my LO's handprint on the front of the card, he's 2 months old. Can I just use poster paint or do I need some special paint (non toxic?)

I used the tubs of finger paint you can get from, say, Early Learning Centre.

I have also used poster paint and my children survived :o I had a supply of baby wipes close by to clean their hands off right away.

Just poster paint. The stuff sold for children is non toxic anyway.
