Pattern for Poppy

Does anyone have a straight-forward knitting (preferably) pattern to make a rememberance poppy with? I will gladly donate to the British legion fund for each that I make.

I've seen someone wearing one & liked it.

There are a couple on Ravelry but I like this one best:

Oh thank you for that. I'm just starting to get back into knitting after many years away from it. I think I shall have to create a Ravelry account!

I do like this one and this one as well. Nice idea to knit one.

If you're wanting some other mini-projects to get you back into knitting, we have a Woolly Hugs project going on at the moment.

Thank you for the patterns I will try to give them a go! I would like to help with a woolly hug but want to improve a little before I do something so important. Seed stitch is about as fancy as I get right now. Practice practice!

All squares are of equal value in Woolly Hugs :) The mantra is that plain squares are good, plain squares are essential.
