Must be some MNetters that sell stuff at fairs and events.

Yorkie what and where do you sell? Thought I better halt the hijack Blush.

cards
mostly through previous orders
and through school fair.
Never been brave enough to sell at a craft fair as yet.

cards and die cuts. Dh's shop and my friends for cards and ebay for the die cuts

So is it mostly through word of mouth Yorkie, I have seen a few card stalls at fairs but they never seem to sell much, perhaps at full on craft fairs where people are more likely to be looking for that kind of stuff I suppose.

I sell toys and sometimes sweets not craft stuff, but I thought there might be some on here that would like a stall at this event next month.

Oh and i'm getting an order in after easter from a chap who has a couple of shops to cut die cuts for him- he's a craft shop selling card making, scrapbooking etc and knitting. looking forward to that job.

Yorkiegirl · 26/03/2006 22:55

also got 50 wedding invites to do at Easter.

Pixie i don't suppose you want a stall next month I think I am flogging a dead horse Grin.

I think they will end up going to the dodgy traders you see at the galas days or the scary jewelery woman i see at the market and try to avoid so she doesn't ask me to mind her stall while she buggers off for an hour.

i'd love it skribble but alas i'm too far away and have no childcare

Skribble · 26/03/2006 23:02

Nevermind. I have to phone tomorrow to let them know if i want a stall or not. Anyone I know that could run the stall is working elsewhere and I am not canceling the holiday. I don't think I would make that much.

It is a big event with lots of people with loads of money. Worth traveling a few miles for.

Skribble · 27/03/2006 18:10

Sorry Skribble - didn't know you were asking about a specific stall at an event, thought it was a just a what / where do you sell question !

Skribble · 27/03/2006 21:02

It was both really I have been trying my best to get someone from here a cheap stall great opportunity for someone. It will end up going to some dodgy trader I suppose. Don't worry I like to hear what you all do anyway Smile.
