All our thoughts and sympathies are with the family of baby Dexter, and most particularly with his mum, My5boysandme.

The chat thread has given details of the yarns and pointed to the Crafters' Guide. I will check back to our last support thread for any newer patterns that haven't yet made it up there.

Please stop by if there is any help you need with your square - the crocheters are regular guest stars as well (it's a bit like NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles).

What's frog it mean?

I have done a stocking stitch square and a garter stitch square.
Now I fancy trying the Chinese waves that trib kindly linked me on page 4. Trouble is I don't quite understand it. If anyone has time could they take a look and explain it to me! I'm good til row 5, does row 5 start again like row one? Or continue as in add more knit stitch at beginning? But surely if I did that by time I get to last rows they'd just be all knit and no waves. So is it rows 1-4, repeated all the way?

Just repeat rows 1-4 until your square is big enough Flo. Chinese waves was my first non knit only square! So it really is foolproof!

It's called Lambs tails from the knitters bible stitch library page 27. My effort didn't look like the picture though! I wouldn't intentionally knit willies! maybe I would

I've just finished a heart square, not a team heart, but similar. And instead of the willies I'm doing a booble bobble square.

I was thinking about doing a Team Heart. I actually have the original colour of yarn to make Hermione hearts Ron so might do that first.

At the moment, though, I've been distracted by doing this absolutely sweet dress for my friend's newborn.
