Craft Workshops.

Hi all you crafters out there.
I'm looking for a craft-related workshop day somewhere in South Yorkshire/Derbyshire/Staffordshire area.
I'm not too fussed about the type of craft taught on said workshop as it's to be a gift for a friend and she's pretty much up for having a go at anything (other than painting/drawing).
Any suggestions?

The Mollie Makes magazine has ads in the back of the mag for all sorts of things, craft courses included. Have a look in WHSmiths

There is a huge craft fair in Birmingham at the NEC in November

I'm in Suffolk ! What type of workshops do you run ?Sounds very exciting .

There's a place near York called the silver thimble which is good but might be too far for you.

How about a trip to the knitting and stitching show in harrogate?

Have a look at Ministry of Craft in Manchester
I've done one of their 3 week knitting classes before, but they also do sewing, jewellery making and other miscellaneous craft courses that look fun!
