Apart from me?

Am I unutterably sad?

Blush...

I used to have the bestest penpal from Japan who would fold all her letters into gorgeous animals and stuff... was fantastic, I used to attempt to do the same back and she'd get a wonky dog or something Grin...I miss it!

I used to know how to make a swan !
But haven't a clue where to begin now !

I used to a lot a few years ago, but got very frustrated tying to do an animals ark full...do make somersaulting frogs for dd quite often though...keeps her busy for ages (ok, ten mins, but still...)

Filyjonk · 18/03/2006 17:01

no but would like to. Can make a mean paper aeroplane tho...

dh can do all sorts of fancy stuff.

keep thinking they would make lovely mobiles.

Any good links? pref for the fairly non technical?

fastasleep · 18/03/2006 18:29

I have some books in my room at school for my children to fiddle with. Personally, I am not patient enough to follow the instructions but some children have been clever enough to make impressive figures. I sent one boy home grinning with photocopied instructions and some paper the other day Grin

I've been trying to find an origami cow for ages. I'm sure I have an origami farm set somewhere but I can't find it.

I can make a flapping bird/crane without the instructions though. Have a fewe books which I rescued from the loft a couple of months ago. One of my favourites is a goldfish that you blow ito to inflate.

Skribble · 24/03/2006 23:02
