Simple fancy dress ideas for my boy

Need your help folks, just been informed that DS's nursery is having a fancy dress day on Wednesday. Need ideas for something simple we can throw together for him. He's 11 months, and I can't sew but am quite arty. Any thoughts? I thought about just buying a plain babygro and drawing on it with sharpies or something but not sure what.

Is there a theme or can it be anything?

Shorts, stripy T-shirt and a bandana. great little pirate!

You could make him a very basic cape and as you're arty you could draw a superhero symbol onto it and onto a plain t-shirt/babygrow. He's unlikely to keep any kind of hat or mask on IME so something simple like that would work (and you can never have too many superhero capes in your dressing up box) :o

Alternatively dress him head to toe in blue and say he's a smurf.

Blow up green or purple ballons and pin them all over - a bunch of grapes. Obviously for a small child you don't fully inflate.

You could draw "muscles" & a loin cloth onto the babygro and he could go as Tarzan (plus Pet monkey toy?)

Or draw on a necktie and put him in Jeans to be a cow boy

He'll dribble/drool on it what ever you do

Rip up an old white/cream sheet and bandage him like a mummy?

Thanks folks, loving the ideas. Think I might have to wait a while before I can dress him as a bunch of grapes (though it's a great idea)
He's going as a zebra, black n White striped babygrow, sadly didn't have the time to do anything more creative. But I won't fail him in future.
Can't wait till he's older and as excited as I was about dressing up.
