What can I do with it Grin?

I laminated photos of DS, us etc when he first went to the CM, and I plan to laminate some leaves (will this work?!), but what else can I laminate / make?

Hmm, place mats, drinks mats, you could make some simple childrens games, timetables for childrens activities, a writeable meal planner/activity planner, any certificates etc that you want preserving.
Tempted to dig mine out now!

Thanks Hardly! Yes, I thought I might try to make an autumnal placemat for my friend's DS using leaves etc.

We made Christmas place mats on Christmas eve, when the excitement levels were too high. I printed some pic I found on a kiddy craft website, they coloured them in, I laminated them.

I also helped a couple of friends children with a project on India. The front page was a smallish picture whch represented India and a few different spices dotted around the laminate sheet, then put through the laminator. It looked amazing.

I made book marks and book bag tags for each of my dc.

Do make sure that leaves are totally dry and have been pressed flat before laminating, especially anything with thick veins. And I mean 'dry', as in 'preserved'.

For parties when my DCs were pre-school I made named placemats for everyone. I've also done personalised bookmarks.

Fab for Christmas window decorations with layers of tissue and bits of foil.

Thanks EcoLady, I was planning on not drying them first Grin!

Lots of great ideas, I think you could make some lovely snowflake decorations...
