i want to crochet a shrug type thing but have 2 problems....

1. i dont have a pattern

2. i only know how to crochet squares (and only one kind of square)

can anyone recommend any books or websites please? any recommendations for housey type stuff would be good too

i find it very hard to commit to classes atm. thats a great website tho, thank you. i have been looking on amazon but there are hundreds so am a bit overwhelmed.
