Dd is entering a photo in the village show and the rules say nothing about how to mount or display it. Any suggestions?

I would frame it myself. I would buy an inexpensive framed picture under glass and re-use the mount that is already in there.

I use picturelizard website to buy my mounts, backing card & polythene bags. They also do frames but I haven't used them. Photovox will print your photos & also frame them,if you have a look at their website you might see a.frame you like. I have only done this once, for a gift, but it was fairly inexpensive, the frame is lovely & saved me the hassle...

Good luck to your daughter Smile

sorry - photobox not vox.

Thanks for the advice. So an ikea frame with mount would be okay? I think I should have paid more attention last time we were at the show!

The rules for the young people's photography at the Littleton and Harestock show (this saturday) say

"T - Photographs in the following classes should be either coloured or black and white, produced by any photographic process, not larger than 25cm x 25cm (10 inches) including any mount."

I feel you couldn't go wrong with them!

I wish the rules in our show had a bit more detail tbh. As long as there aren't secret criteria I guess we'll be okay.

What about a table top easel? With the framed pic in it?

OneOfMyTurnsComingOn · 29/08/2012 12:25
