Well, are any of you up for it? I don't normally send Easter Cards but it seems that we are all in the doldrums at the moment and need something to cheer us up

I would love to organise it.

For the newbies this is what we do.

  1. Take a photograph of all the bits and pieces you have selected to make your card. Make sure you have enough of the materials used so you can send your challenge chum identical items.
  1. You make one card, photograph it and then you send everyhting that you used to make it to your "challenge chum". You send the card blank and envelope then all the other bits and pieces.
  1. Once your "challenge chum" has posted that they have received their goodies, you post the photograph of the bits and pieces that you sent onto the yahoo site.
  1. Someone else will be sending B&P's to you. When they arrive take a photograph of them before you start creating.(this is just incase the sender forgot to take a photo before they sent out the items!)
  1. When you receieve your goodies from your 'crafty pal' you make a card. If you receive less than 5 little bits you can add one other, if you receieve more than 5 elemnts you can leave one out.
  1. Once you have finished, you put a piccie of your card on yahoo and we can see the different things that people came up with using the same things.
  1. DO NOT post a piccie of your original card until your challenge chum has posted their card made with the B&P's that you have sent.

Once everyone has signed up by the 19th March, you will receive an email on the 20th March giving the name of the person you need to send your items to.

PLEASE make sure that they recieve their items by 28th March....that gives you just over a week to make your card and post out the B&P's.

All finished cards need to be posted onto the gallery by the 1st April.

Right, totally copied the previous message from JM (Cheers) from the Christmas challenge. Since we have all done this before I suspect we all know the rules.

AQ, would it be possible to set up a spring gallery, pretty please.

Anyone who wants to join should email me your MN name & postal address to [email protected].

I will pull the names out of a hat to see who gets who.

Hopefully I have not forgotten anything. It's going to be so good to do as we have all moved on sooo much since the last one. Am excited now Grin

Is it just the one challenge chum this time- was two last time. however not necessarily a bad thing- have more thing I have two of than three iyswim.

One v.v.important thing I forgot. Does everyone use eyelets/brads/stamps/embossing etc. If there are things that people don't do can you please confess as it was quite rightly pointed out to me that it's no good teaming up someone who uses eyelets with someone who don't Grin.

I personally do not use stamps or embossing.

I would try anything... however, with the exception of eyelets which are a bit technical to use, I thought that the idea was we gave our partner(s) exactly the same bits as we had used and the idea was to see the different ways they were used. So, if you are using peel offs you would send them on and if you had brads you sent them etc etc. I know that I wouldn't learn or go out of my comfort zone if I knew I was receiving bits and pieces from someone who preferred using the same products as me.

(AQ / JM... please correct me if I have this completely wrong)

plus if you use a stamped image then you send on the stamped image for your cc to use.

I pretty much use anything.

Have made my card- thankfully, as straight after went and cut my hand and can't bend pointing finger on right hand! Hopefully will heal befoe items arrive.

Have included pre-stamped images in my parcel.
