I want to buy this textile and then make from it a douvet cover

The link shows it is in the Curtan and drapes category. I do not know whether it is going to be too hard for the bedding. What do you think?
Thanks!

It should be fine...Ikea fabrics in my experience are not thick...it says cotton and not canvass....it doesn't say heavyweight. I would think it's ok.

I made this into curtains for dd's nursery! It's very very light and so would be fine for a duvet cover.

I apologise for the misspellings and for not converting the link. Should not have posted the thread that late.

I am glad that the fabric is suitable for duvet covers. This will be my major sewing project.

I think I am going to buy one ready made duvet cover and the fabric to copy the design. It is 3m long so I guess I will need to buy 6 meters but it is still much cheaper than buying it somewhere else. Is it not as I could not find anything cheap anywhere?

Many thanks! Thanks

My sister also buys cheap duvet covers and then makes them into curtains! She's had some lovely ones from cheapish shops...she simply adds curtain tape to the top...the double layer means they are already lined!
