Big shot-will it do what I want it to?

It's my birthday soon and I'm thinking of asking for this. I do a fair bit of appliqué, sometimes with fleece fabric. Will the big shot make it quicker and easier to cut out shapes and would I be able to get dies with fairly big (5cm high ish) letters? Would make good use of it if I could but really don't need another piece of unused kit!

They are handy for material cutting. cutting edge crafts is a good website for dies. You can buy proper job ones for fabric cutting specifically for quilters here

You can buy different sized dies the bigz dies have individual letters available here they are 4" tall.

I believe that the only dies that won't work in the bigshot are the BigZ pro dies. But you can check with cutting edge they have been very helpful in the past.
