I'd love to make some crafty arty things to display in my yard garden (as my green fingers are a bit naff). My daughter aged 4 loves crafting but I lack ideas, skill and ability to execute something to a decent standard.
PLEASE help me! I'd like to make a 'garden' - the best I can come up with is covering flowers from magazines with sticky back plastic which presumably want be rain proof for long...? Help!

What about putting big canvases up on the wall? If you painted them with acrylics they would be reasonably weather proof.

Make tealight holders out of old jars, wire & glass paint? Mosaic mirrors? Bunting?

Oh & you could paint some pebbles to put in flwerbeds, pots etc.

Upcycling plant pots here - fill with easy to grow stuff such as french lavender,

can you paint the wall white & then graffitti that too ??

I'm also working on turning an oil drum into a giant planter, which will be decorated with pink flamingoes & an old round garden table is halfway to being a toadstool

Thanks :), I've been having great fun with it, though the damned changeable weather has put the mockers on my finishing the rest of it Hmm, I will be adding it all to the blog when I do, which I'm hoping will be soon(fingers crossed for sun) as I've got DH home for a couple of weeks, so he can muck in with DDGrin
