I was wondering how to write in button holes on a knit pattern? Can anybody help?

I have ten stitches, two buttonholes across stitches 3&4 and 7&8, do I write it K2, BO2, K2, BO2, K2?

Oh, then P2, CO2, P2, CO2, P2 for the next row...

That's fine as you've written it, though you might want to put BO2 and CO2 in an Abbreviations section, with explanations. That's especially important for CO2, because there's a few different ways of doing that. If you want a particular method used, you need to spell it out.

God Luck!
