Looking for a sewing pattern...

DD (age 5) wants some summer dresses. She has a school dress which looks really good on her, and I'd like to make her something similar but not in gingham (she'd probably object to wearing school uniform all summer! :o )

Have you seen any patterns that could work? The dress has a drop waist, pleated front of skirt, slight shaping of the back bodice, small collar and short sleeves. A bit like this one.

Or, can anyone give any advice about making my own pattern from the existing dress?

Here is a link to the dress tutorials on Craftster...a great site and all free...I can't see any dresses that look like the one you want...but if you're good you could adapt one? here they are

Thanks - I've had a quick look and can't see anything like I wanted, but there are a couple on there that might do instead.
