Crochet pattern for baby blanket

I'm looking for quite a funky one for a boy in cream and red.
Not granny squares.
If anyone has seen a pattern or a blanket, I'll buy it if I can't find a pattern.

I've done the Neat Ripple by Lucy of Attic24 - that can look funky depending on the colours. Also her Granny Stripe one would look good.

I second the ripple, it looks great and can be done with whatever yarn/colours you like. I recently did one in pinks & purples, edged in white, I was very pleased with how it came out.
