Hello, just bought a ton of stuff (inspired by LaurieFairyCake's legendary scented candle thread!) to make scented candles at home. I bought plain wick, so need to prime it, but wondered if I am supposed to prime it with soy wax or with paraffin wax? 
I can melt down a piece of a paraffin candle if needs be, or I have a huge sack of soy wax ready & waiting - just not sure what to do...
