Where to buy cheap, bog-standard buttons?

I don't need fancy ones at 30p a button, just a big bag of normal big blue or red buttons. Does anyone know where the best place to get these is?

Market?

Dunelm, Aberkhan, ebay, Hobbycraft, local market/market hall?

Just been on hobbycraft and it's infuriating (5million results none of which look right), am also looking on ebay now. Thank you.

If you are anywhere near Birmingham there's a fabulous button stall in the indoor market, and one near it which does bags of mixed buttons very cheaply

Worth asking at charity shops, some have button jars.

flubba · 30/06/2012 09:31

Good idea. I got a few from ebay in the end, but charity shop searches sounds a bit of a good plan!
